Wash was born in Tennessee about 1833. I found him on the 1850 Jersey County, Illinois census with his brothers William, Hugh, and John.

Although he was on the census, he was unknown until informaiton was provided by Uncle Jacks family which connected him.

 

Continuing Research:

I have not been able to locate Wash on any census other than the the 1850 Federal census. Further research should bring more information if descandents cannot be connected with.
